Horse School

Horse Summer School will be back in session 2022!

Miss Lindsay’s Horse School is a wonderful gathering for young equestrians to further their horsey education. During Horse School, we take a deep dive into a particular horse related topic. Half of Horse School is sit down classroom style where we discuss the topic before heading out to the barn for the practicum and hands on section.

Lindsay isn’t training my horse. She’s training me, the human leader to get out of my head, back into my body and ride my amazing mare to her fullest potential. In just 4 short months we have exceeded any goals or milestones I could have ever imagined. I am over the moon and will continue to work with Lindsay to keep hitting huge milestones that we once only dreamed of. She’s intuitive and really understands the person and the relationship between equine and human. When a business changes your life, you should probably share it. Windsong Equestrian, more specifically Lindsay Reichard, has done that for me. I am in my 50s and had been on a horse exactly twice over the past 4 decades. Long ago, I pushed the joy I felt when I was near horses way into the recesses of my consciousness -- school, then work, kids, and life demanded my attention. Lindsay and her herd have given me the opportunity to bring that joy back again. She has been patient with what I think I remember, and celebrated with me as I find my way back in the saddle. She is encouraging, yet firm when needed. She runs a clean, very well-organized, full-service stable that is welcoming and accessible to any level (or age!) rider. She, and my daughter, Elaine, who is also a part of the Windsong family, have returned a piece of my soul and I am forever grateful. It’s been decades since I have ridden and Lindsay made it feel like yesterday.
